As we celebrate Newington's 160th year of providing quality education, we also recognise the need to adapt and evolve in a world that is becoming increasingly diverse and interconnected.

As a community, we are ambitious for our boys. We continue to build on a culture that is vibrant, caring, and courageous – in its diversity, inclusiveness, and difference. Our commitment is always to continue our traditions and achievements and to help those who come after us. Every boy who comes to Newington benefits from the actions of those before him.

Scholarships are important as they enable a student to really pursue what they are interested in. For me, it was mathematics. For others, it'll be music, sports, or any other variety. Even more so is if these scholarships go to students who otherwise may not have had the opportunity to attend a school like Newington, or to pursue their interests because of other circumstances in their life.

House versus House

Each of the 16 Houses at Stanmore, the four Houses at Wyvern, and the two Houses at Lindfield will compete to raise agreed goals. When you donate, your gift can be allocated towards your House of choice. It could be your son(s) House(s), your House when you were at school, your House as a staff member, or to Newington ('no House').

All Houses are doing battle to see which House wins the Headmaster's Giving Day Achievement Award of a (healthy) pizza lunch on Friday, 15 September.
