Gifts at a funeral or memorial service, instead of flowers

add remove

Giving a gift in memory of a loved one is a wonderful way to help shape the future of current Newington students.

If you're arranging a funeral or memorial service you may also like to encourage friends, relatives, and Old Newingtonians to make a gift to the Newington Foundation in memory or instead of flowers.

We can post donation forms and envelopes for you to distribute at the service, or you can set up an online donation page for those who attended or were unable to attend the service.

You can include a photograph of your loved one and information about their life on the donation page. The link can then be easily emailed to family and friends, and they can leave a message of condolence along with their donation to the Newington Foundation.

Once all the donations are compiled, we will send an acknowledgement letter to the next of kin, listing the names of those who have made a gift. All individual donation amounts will remain private between the donor and the Newington Foundation.
