Give the Gift of Opportunity this Giving Day on Wednesday 17 September. Help us provide means-tested scholarships that opens the door to a Newington College education.

A Newington College education is more than lessons and grades. It’s the courage to try, the curiosity to question, and the integrity to lead with purpose.

Your gift opens the gate to that opportunity – for a student who’s ready, yet financial circumstances stand in the way of a Newington education.

We’re rallying together to raise funds for means-tested scholarships – opening doors for students who, due to financial hardship, would not otherwise have access to a Newington education. Together, we can make a real difference in the life of a future Newingtonian.

With your support we aim to raise $333,000 - on our third Giving Day.

Every gift you make will be TREBLED – so your donation of $33 becomes $99; $88 becomes $264; $144 becomes $432; $240 becomes $720. We sincerely thank our Matching Givers – the Stanmore P&F, the ONU, Old Newingtonians, parents, and grandparents who share your belief in and love of Newington.

Please donate today: Give the Gift of Opportunity!

With thanks from Ned*

"Newington has taught me the importance of teamwork and a strong work ethic, along with how to present myself and highlight my values and strengths, skills that will undoubtedly be useful as I continue my journey...

"The support I've received extends beyond academics and co-curricular activities; it has also touched upon cultural and personal well-being. During a particularly challenging time, when a family issue weighed heavily on me, my teachers, mentor, and Head of House noticed my struggles. They took the time to check in on me, offer reassurance, and provide their help through counselling or simply by listening. This compassion eased my mind and made school a much more positive and manageable place during that time...

"I'm profoundly grateful for the opportunity you have given me and sincerely hope that others are granted the same chance. This scholarship has changed my life; I know it will do the same for many future students."

House versus House

Each of the 16 Houses at Stanmore, the four Houses at Wyvern, and the two Houses at Lindfield will compete to raise agreed goals. When you donate, your gift can be allocated towards your House of choice. It could be your child/rens' House(s), your House when you were at school, your House as a staff member, or to Newington ('no House').

All Houses are doing battle to see which House wins the Headmaster's Giving Day Achievement Award of a (healthy) pizza lunch on Friday, 26 September.

Which House will you support?
